Ray Bradshaw, 87, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on May 23, 1925, in Nat, to Mattie B. Vanlandingham Bradshaw and Jim Bradshaw, and had been a resident of the Beaumont area for many years. Ray graduated from Cushing High School in 1943 and attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1946 until 1948. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Unocal. Survivors include his son, Rodney Bradshaw and his wife, Susan, of Houston; daughter, Kim Dolan and her husband, Rodney, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Lauren Ellis and her husband, Jason; Gary Bradshaw and his wife, Amanda; Chris Dolan; and Stacy Dolan; great-grandchildren, Riley Ellis; Rex Ellis; and Beckett Bradshaw; sister, Irene Lester, of Knoxville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife of sixty-two years, Bobby Bradshaw. A gathering of Mr. Bradshaw's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2012, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Broussard's. A graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m., Saturday afternoon at Nat Cemetery, Nat, Texas.
